WE are back

All we can say is what an amazing venue for a wedding. The only thing that made the day better and easier was the couple, Mr. and Mrs Chris Scosta.

These two have been nothing but fun to work with, If you two read this, it was truly our honor to be there and capture your day. Shawn was with the ladies while they got ready and sipped on champagne all afternoon, while I (Matt), was with the men while they made jokes and anticipated a night of laughs and dancing.

The weather was a bit of a challenge, we were hoping the rain would disperse and the sun would come out and play but it just wasn't meant to be. However this did not take away from the great celebration of life long promise that was made between the newlyweds.

We made some new friends, and we are very thankful for all the people who complimented us on our professionalism, just keep us in mind when you get married!!! ;)

So with out further ado, here are a few photos as a teaser to Katy and Chris.....

UP date

Lately we have been doing all kinds of things. Mostly just drinking beers at barbecues and having some great times with family and friends.

Had a family portrait shoot this past week and a couple flew in from Arizona to be wed.
We have some big plans for expanding our business in the upcoming months and into next year. We have one large wedding coming up in 2 months that is sure to be a blast and is at great open field in Danbury, CT.

Also going to be doing some design work for a good friend and am excited about how that project is going to turn out and to see how creative we get with it!

anyways photos are worth a 1000 words so here ya go....

Hello-

What great weather it has been lately :) If you are living on the east coast you completely understand my horrible sarcasm.

Today, while perusing Facebook I was IM'ed by an old friend up in New Hampshire about a her new business. They just opened a storefront in East Hampstead,NH and were wondering if we could supply them with some framed work and brochures. Obviously I was super excited and more than willing to put our name out there especially since, it is where I grew up.

To get to the point, they opened a wedding invintation/wedding planning service that will make you life so much easier! For those of you whom have done this all by yourself know that it gets hectic and just overwhelming. They do super quality work and have impressive ideas for your and your wedding.

what are you doing......

We have been quite busy of late and can only hope that business stays steady with new weddings and family portraits. This month so far we have had two fabulous weddings, both very different but both equally as fun and entertaining.

We had a great E-Session (engagement shoot) with Katy and Chris at their wedding location to be up in Danbury, CT. Their venue is second to none and left us breathless with the options of natural beauty to use as backgrounds and props for the E-session and for future use during their wedding day in September of this year.

Paul and Susan tied the knot on this past Saturday at St. Mathews in Norwalk,CT. It was a small ceremony, in a petite hut with large windows facing out over a small pond. The rain held out all day, I had my fingers crossed all day as we were taking formal shots outside. The reception was fun, the dance floor was a bit cramped but didn't stop anyone from showing off their dancing moves.

Thanks for checking in with what we have been up to and be sure to check in regularly for more updates as the summer is stacking up to be a good one!!

Wedding Weekend

What a day it was on Saturday! Sure was a hot one for an outdoor wedding. The sky was almost clear, the air was hot but it almost looked like the clouds were rolling in to unleash a thunderstorm but luckily, that never happened. Matt and I traveled up to Orange, CT to shoot an outdoor wedding followed by an indoor reception this past Saturday. We had a great time with the family and everything went off smoothly. Lots of photos were taken and tons of great moments were captured! The food was great and the little flower girl was adorable!! Now the fun begins with all the photos. Here are just a few quick and random preview shots from the wedding. MANY more to follow soon.....Enjoy

Field Day

This Wednesday was a beautiful day for some 4th graders to test they athletic abilities and to blow off some of that extra energy they have since the school year is about to wrap up and the weather outside is just begging to be enjoyed! I was lucky enough to get to attend this event and there to cheer on my nephew, Shawn.

Enjoy....

Stamford Little League

Well once again, we got the joy of watching young boys and girls playing Americas favorite pastime. The field on Vine Rd. is an amazing venue for these young children to learn to play baseball on. Amazing well groomed, Outfield fence, bleachers for fans and even an electronic score board that keeps and accurate pitch count. It is almost the end of season here in Stamford but I am sure we will see many children and adults alike playing catch in the front yard as the summer comes closer!

Enjoy the few shots.....

Trip to NYC to visit the Peter Lik gallery in Soho

All I can say is WOW! If you have never see the work from Peter Lik "in person" this is something you need to do....This guy is amazing! I have been following his work for some time now and his Soho gallery finally opened and I couldn't wait to make a visit.

Peter basically came from nothing in Austraila and lived out of his van. He started taking photos when he was 8 years old and became very famous for his work today. Numerous awards and many galleries is what its all about. Lik became the master in landscape photography. His works are not just little prints hanging on a wall, they are very expensive works of art that range in size from somewhat small to 4x8 feet and bigger!! You have to see the photos in person. His work is also amazing because of the was they change colors as the lights in the room dim. check out his link and you will get a better understanding of this self tought legend.

Thanks to Doctor Donna for the trip tonight, (it was an early birthday present for me) A "fast" ride in the droptop Benz, lots of time in the gallery and a great dinner = an awesome night!

Stamford American Little League "Opening Day"

Rain, Rain Go Away!!! Even though the weather completely fell apart today, the turn out was great for the Opening Day ceremonies.... I did not have my cameras with me today as I was helping with the event and it was iffy if the day would even happen with the weather. Matt was able to stop by and snap a few "really wet" photos towards the end and I will post some below and add more when they are done.

The Stamford PD was there with police cars, trucks, the bomb squad tank & motor cycles for the kids to see, touch and get inside. The SPD honor guard raised the American Flag and 3 players said the pledge over the PA as the crowd followed along. The SPD also had that really cool remote control robot that the PD and SWAT uses to go into buildings and see what's going on before officers enter the building and chance getting hurt. I sooo need to get me one of those bad boys!! hehehe.....

One thing I learned today was that rain soaked hot dogs are still just as good as ever. It reminded me of the famous NYC "Dirty Water Dog" what swine flu??

So basically to wrap up the day. cold temps, rain, wet hot dogs and buns, cotton candy, popcorn and mud made for one hell of a day down at the Little League field!

More photos to come.....
